Based in London, Ontario with a dedicated detailing team in India, JPVS Engineering was founded to give Canadian and American steel fabricators access to expert-level shop drawings at a price that actually improves their margins. Where we came from and why we built this
JPVS Engineering was founded by a team that had seen first-hand how much time and money steel fabricators lose to detailing bottlenecks. Shops turning down projects because their detailers were overloaded. Competitive bids lost because detailing costs ate into margins. Skilled in-house teams burning out on routine shop drawings instead of focusing on complex, high-value work.
We built JPVS to solve that problem. Our founding team brings together structural engineering expertise, deep knowledge of North American fabrication standards, and experience working with shops across Canada and the United States. Our India-based detailing team was carefully recruited and trained specifically to work to AISC, CISC, CSA, and NISD standards — not adapted from general drafting work, but purpose-built for the North American steel industry.
Today we work as an extension of fabricators’ teams — handling their overflow, taking on full project scopes, and delivering drawings that go straight to the shop floor without requiring rework. Our clients don’t think of us as an offshore vendor. They think of us as their detailing department.

We follow AISC, CISC, CSA, and NISD codes on every project. There are no workarounds, no “close enough” details. North American codes are the baseline, not the ceiling.
